The initial idea for Mix on Wheels began in March 2008 as an innovative concept in mobile entertainment developed by DJ Charles Miles. His concept of Music in Motion stemmed from his previous business concept of DJ Road Jam, which included the retrofitted Honda Element that is currently in the Mix on Wheels fleet.

Mix On Wheels is all about entertaining people with a mind-blowing show of sound and lights to create a memorable experience for our clients’ guests in locations such as:

Given our background, experience and entrepreneurial vision, our “Music in Motion” business concept was born as a way to bring the dance club experience to any event location—whether indoors or outdoors. Meet Our DJs

Charles Miles aka DJ Miles
Owner/President

Alabama native Charles Miles certainly did not accidentally “fall” into his current role as owner and founder of Mix on Wheels. Beginning in high school, Miles’ passion for the music and entertainment industry was obvious. Starting as a teen club DJ, he grew out of the teen-scene and into a late night club DJ. At University of Alabama, where he earned a degree in marketing/advertising, Miles opened his first mobile DJ company. However, it wasn’t until he graduated that his true education for the future began.

Soon after moving to Orlando for a position selling for a pro audio equipment manufacturer, Miles enrolled in Full Sail, the world’s largest multi-media school, and graduated with an associate degree in audio engineering. He soon flipped to the buying side, moved to South Florida, and began traveling to see the latest and greatest in pro audio product. With the constant deluge of ideas, he got a brilliant idea: to combine DJ entertainment with mobile DJ vehicles – and his first company, DJ Road Jam was born in 2006. He did grad nights for Disney for years until a major media company utilized the vehicle full time, leaving Miles’ free to pursue his next idea―Mix on Wheels.

It’s not hard to see that the entrepreneurship fueled with the desire to bring fresh, creative product to market fueled Miles from the start, and continues to be his motivation. While enjoying the freedom of owning his own company, Miles does not take any aspect of his business lightly. He prides himself on always giving more than 100 percent to everything he does. “I want to make a difference, be different, and provide the best,” he says. There is no doubt that this ambitious individual will always do just that and more.

Jason Gabel aka DJ Jayce
Director of Sales & Marketing

Born and raised in New York, Jason Gabel, a.k.a., DJ Jayce has been perfecting his craft for more than 17 years. The art of entertaining and captivating audiences from coast to coast is his passion, his calling, and most of all, his expertise.

Like a chameleon, Gabel adapts to each event and audience he works with to create the ideal atmosphere. His attention to detail and professionalism has made him an unstoppable force in the corporate and social markets over the last 11 years. His music library consists of more than 50,000 songs ranging from the classics to today’s hottest chart topping hits.

As a part of Mix on Wheels and an outstanding DJ and emcee, DJ Jayce makes it his business to bring your vision to fruition. Bob Florino aka DJ Hollywood Bob

When looking for a dynamic, interactive performer, DJ Bob Florino AKA Hollywood Bob breaks the mold. With his combination of youthful good looks and engaging personality, you are guaranteed to have a memorable experience. Creating a high energy atmosphere whether he’s behind the turntables or emceeing, Hollywood Bob is invariably able to “wow” any crowd.

Having over a decade of entertainment experience from spinning at corporate and social events to making his mark on the night club scene throughout Chicago, Dallas, Orlando and beyond-Hollywood entertainers for central Florida theme parks, including the Disney Cruise Line, his hosting experience is second to none and with his undeniable ability to ready any multitude of people, everyone involved is sure to have an enjoyable time.

Carlos Carrion aka DJ Los

An Orlando DJ and MC since the mid 90s, DJ LOS is known to “Rock the Decks while Rockin’ da House” as he specializes in both American and Latin music styles. DJ LOS is extremely versatile, playing a great mix of Top 40, Club Music, Salsa/Merenge, Tropical Latin, Bachata and Reggaeton—the latest and greatest from the Latin Music scene.

DJ LOS knows just what to say and when to say it, earning him a reputation for making any corporate event , night club or weddings celebration a hit with his unique style. He also has plenty of experience DJ’ing theme park events, with an unique ability to read the crowed and connect with adults and youngsters alike to deliver an amazing mix of sound and entertainment.

DJ LOS can MC even international events, giving his bilingual skills that are known to entertain guests in English or Spanish. And that’s not all, his skills go beyond the mixing of sound—DJ LOS is also a VJ, exerting his crafted skill in the mix of music videos and other interactive media.

Willie Lugo aka DJ WillRock

DJ Willie Lugo has been living the entertainment lifestyle since his high school days, when he started collecting vinyl records and DJ’ing at house and pool parties at the community center in Roosevelt Roads Naval Station, in Puerto Rico. Deciding to make a career out of his passion for entertaining, Willie moved to South Florida in the early 90’s and started to hone his skills working with top entertainment companies in the Miami area.

Continuing to follow his dream, DJ Willie moved to Orlando in the late 90’s to seek out new opportunities in Central Florida’s entertainment scene and quickly established himself as a top DJ/MC in local bars, special events and clubs. Not satisfied with being a local DJ, Willie set sights on developing an international reputation that has taken him to locations such as Venezuela, the Cayman Islands and Los Angeles, among many more.

Today, DJ Willie Lugo is a veteran DJ/MC with extensive experience directing corporate events and private engagements such as bar/bat mitzvahs, quinceañeras, and many more exclusive events in Orlando, Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete, Cocoa Beach, Vero Beach, Coral Springs, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Jacksonville, Clermont, Gainesville—and just about anywhere his exceptional DJ skills are required.

Tony Alonso aka DJ Tony B

Tony began his career as an accident when at the age of 16 the DJ at a local skating rink did not show up and Tony stepped in to cover his shift. Over the next several years he has put together an impressive resume and has performed for hundreds of events around the world.

His passion for entertaining and providing memories goes beyond the every day confines of a Disc Jockey. Tony has an extensive background including; writing for the nationally distributed Mobile Beat Magazine and speaking at the National Association of Mobile Entertainer’s convention. He is also Disney, Universal, and Sea World Certified and performed for 5 years at the world famous Disney Pleasure Island Night Clubs, (P.I. Live Radio Show, Motion, 8-trax, and Rock and Roll Beach Club) as well as opened the world famous Universal City Walk Ultra Lounge, Red Coconut Club. It is here that Tony was often called upon to perform for a wide range of celebrities.

Recently Tony flew out of the country for a tour with Princess Cruise Lines and continues to raise the bar each year with his energetic personality and infectious music mixing. From club style to interactive stage shows, Tony is a well rounded entertainer that can ensure your event will be a success.
